Exploring Water
What impacts daily water? Who protects local water? How can humans conserve and protect the water?
Although Earth is about 71% water, only a fraction of that is freshwater that humans can access and use for daily living. When you turn on your faucet, it may seem like a simple act, but that water has gone through an adventure, from shifting forms in the water cycle to being filtered at the water treatment plant before making it to your home as clean, safe drinking water. This Exploring Water content will help you understand Earth's water systems and evaluate human interactions with water so that you can protect and conserve the water that all life depends upon.
