Position Summary:
Piedmont Environmental Alliance seeks an experienced, enthusiastic educator to present our educational programming in local schools two to three days weekly between 7 am-4 pm. The part-time position also includes office work to support education programs and organizational priorities.

Responsibilities:

Present PEA’s education programs to local 7th and 9th grade science classrooms, with energy and enthusiasm to match the audience.

Collect and analyze key performance indicators, photos, and quotes for programs and make recommendations to the Environmental Education Program Manager based on specific metrics.

Work closely with volunteers to support teaching and other education programs.

Maintain and strengthen key partnerships to ensure program success.

Meet weekly with the Environmental Education Program Manager to organize work tasks, set calendar, and reflect on completed tasks.

Support key PEA events, including the Piedmont Earth Day Fair, Environmental Education Field Trip, and Environmental Debate Tournament.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation:
This is a part-time position for 20 hours a week. The salary range is $20,000-$26,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Benefits include paid time off.
