Summer feathered friends have gone south. Canadian birds have arrived. Locals are still hanging on. Come see the birds that spend the winter at Gateway Nature Preserve. We’ll explore the Salem Creek Greenway and trails through the grass and woods as we look closely for birds in their winter habitat.
This event is sponsored by the Gateway Nature Preserve. Individuals and families are welcome to attend, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Please dress for the weather and wear good walking shoes. Please bring binoculars if you have them.
This event is free, but registration is required. Limit 20.
Please park in the lot behind Family Services, 1200 S. Broad St. The walk will begin adjacent to the parking lot, at Gateway Nature Preserve.
