Join Hanging Rock State Park Ranger Fields and hike the Vade Mecum property, uncovering pieces of the past and learning about the unusual history.
Components of this hike include visiting the historic hotel, rustic cabins, chapel, and springhouse. This will be approximately a 2-hour hike, so please come prepared with clothing fit for hiking, such as adequate shoes, extra layers, and items such as water or hiking stick. Don’t forget to bring your camera!
Terrain on this hike will be moderate difficulty totaling approximately 2 miles and involve creek crossings. Due to no pets in buildings policy, leashed pets are discouraged.
