When French actress and new mother Mélanie Laurent learned about the dire predictions from the journal Nature which announced the possible extinction of humankind before the end of the 21st century, she wanted to do something that might help avert the disaster. Turning to her own craft, she joined activist Cyril Dion and gathered a team of four filmmakers to search for solutions.
