Join Gateway Nature Preserve and come splash in Salem Creek and explore the “beach” area at the preserve. We’ll look for animal tracks, creek critters and do a creek scavenger hunt. Additionally, we’ll conduct water quality experiments, and classify creek critters to investigate the health of our creek. Please wear closed-toe shoes that can get wet and prepare for a great time!
Meet at the Washington Park parking lot at 1490 S. Broad St. and follow the signs across Salem Creek to Gateway Nature Preserve.
