Stormwater SMART’s Danica Heflin will be at the Lewisville Branch Library to help you learn three simple strategies to control the flow: disconnection (downspout redirection), collection (rain barrels), and naturalization (gardening with native flowers, grasses, shrubs, and trees). These methods make your landscape more resilient during and after heavy storms and help you save money on utilities.
You’ll also be helping to improve the water quality in our creeks, streams, and rivers! Need more motivation?
