The NC Cooperative Extension of Forsyth County hosts Leslie Rose, Extension Horticulture Agent and Director of the Arboretum at Tanglewood Park, who will provide a demonstration of proper pruning for ornamental trees and shrubs in the landscape.
Proper pruning helps maintain the aesthetics and also improve the health of plants in your landscape. This presentation will review proper pruning practices for trees and shrubs in the landscape, including tools to use, when to prune, and a demonstration of how to make proper pruning cuts.
Weather permitting, this class will be in-person and in the gardens at the Arboretum at Tanglewood Park (4200 Manor House Circle, Clemmons, NC 27012). Please dress appropriately for the weather. Registered participants will receive further details.
Space is limited and registration is required! The demonstration will be held at 9 AM and 11 AM. Information covered in each demonstration will be the same; please select only one time slot when you register.
