Forsyth County Commissioner Dan Besse will host a public input session will be Monday, April 27, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Rural Hall Branch Library, 7125 Broad Street, Rural Hall 27045.
Please join your fellow Forsyth County residents and share your thoughts about the county's new budget and timely environmental issues like data center growth. Commissioner Besse's overview just below:
"By coincidence, the timing also works out to provide a good opportunity to hear from residents of the community who would be most directly affected by the pending requested rezoning of 100+ acres of land adjacent to the Town of Rural Hall. The requested rezoning would be from mostly low-density residential to a special use industrial zoning in order to accommodate a new hyperscale data center.
The timing of my scheduled public input session places it between a scheduled public hearing by the City/County Planning Board in April and the earliest time that a recommendation from the Planning Board could be heard by the County Commission in May. I look forward to hearing the thoughts and concerns of Rural Hall area residents on this and other county issues on April 27."
