Join the Piedmont Land Conservancy, hosting a free film showing: Silent Spring of Rachel Carson tells the awe-inspiring journey of the 50 year old Rachel Carson: an extremely-introverted, intensely-private biologist, renowned writer of sea books, nature lover and mother to an adopted 4 year old grandnephew.
