Distance: 1 mile
Description: Bring the kids and join three PLC staff members and parents for an exploratory hike at Price Park. All ages are welcome. We’ll hike at the pace of the slowest members of the group and stop as needed for snacks, water, and rest. The hike will take us on a 1-mile loop through the woods, where we will discover some of the native species and keep our eyes out for birds, turtles, and other wildlife.
Important notes: Please dress comfortably and wear appropriate shoes. Be prepared for muddy conditions if it has rained recently. Bring your own snacks and water. Bathrooms are available in the Kathleen Clay Library, and there is ample parking in the library parking lot. While this trail is not stroller friendly, this walk IS baby friendly. Baby-wearing (or babies in carriers) would be welcome and encouraged.
Location: Price Park (Meet outside the Kathleen Clay Library).
