Join the Yadkin Riverkeeper (YRK) for a flatwater paddle on a hidden gem of the Yadkin River: Falls Reservoir. Surrounded by the steep, undeveloped mountains of the Uwharries on one side and Morrow Mountain State Park on the other, this paddle feels more like a mountain lake than the Piedmont. We will travel up to the base area of the Narrows Dam, and then explore our way back down to the access area. Lunch will be provided before the paddle. It is a scenic lake paddle with no shuttle, 4.4 miles.
