Gateway Nature Preserve hosts this walk during the beautiful evening hours on the Forest Discovery Trail and the pollinator garden. See the flapping of bats, spot a silhouette, or hear the Barred Owl's call and witness other nocturnal critters come to life to forage and hunt for food. Use your senses to help locate these and other native wildlife as the sun sets and twilight settles, bringing in the glimmer of the cooler summer night air.
Individuals and families are welcome to attend, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
Please register HERE for this event. Park at the Washington Park parking lot at 1490 S. Broad St. and follow the signs across Salem Creek to Gateway Nature Preserve.
