Reynolda Gardens invites you to a build-a-birdhouse workshop. Participants can either register to each make their own cedar birdhouses from kit materials, or work together like the men in Jacob Lawrence’s Builders No. 2 to build one home for birds, then decorate the outside with paint. The cedar wood you’ll use to make a birdhouse once grew as a tree at Reynolda! Please note pricing is per birdhouse.
Family First is a series of two-hour workshops beginning at 2 p.m. the first Sunday of most months for children in grades 1 through 6 and a favorite adult. Workshops include time in the museum to explore a work of art or decorative art.
