Piedmont Environmental Alliance is launching an all-new Environmental Action Coalition!
Our local officials tell us they're ready to take action on local sustainability but need our help determining priorities within our community. This new coalition of local environmental leaders will:
- Work together to come up with a shared climate agenda and messaging that combines the strength of our city's many environmental organizations
- Develop a strategic calendar of action items to bring to the City of Winston-Salem Sustainability Commitee and, ultimately, City Council.
- Take direct action in the form of organizing community discussions, writing letters to the editor, drafting policy initiatives, and more.
