Piedmont Earth Day Fair
Save the date: April 28, 2012
The 7th annual Piedmont Earth Day Fair will be held April 28, 2012 at the Dixie Classic Fairgrounds from 10 am – 5 pm. Founded by PEA, the Piedmont Earth Day Fair is the Triad's largest Earth Day event, drawing crowds of 8,000+. Feedback from both exhibitors and visitors continues to be extremely positive. The Fair attracts huge crowds because it is a free, family-friendly event with lots to offer, including live music all day on a main stage, a variety of all-natural food options, hands-on demonstrations and children's activities. In addition, the Fair features over 100 exhibitors demonstrating the sustainable features of their products or services, highlighting local initiatives to protect our environment, and sharing their passion for sustainable solutions to modern day living.
Volunteer Opportunities
This event is entirely volunteer run by a team of 20-30 committed volunteers. Plus, we recruit an additional 80-100 volunteers the day of the event to ensure the Fair runs smoothly. For more information on volunteering to be on the planning team, visit our Volunteer page. To volunteer the day of the Fair, online sign-up begins in February. Thank you to all of our volunteers!
Sponsorship Opportunities
PEA is pleased to offer this event free to the community. The Fair is supported by a wide range of sponsors, including businesses, non-profit organizations, government agencies and individuals. We have a variety of sponsorship opportunities. Visit our Sponsor page for more information.
Exhibitor Opportunities
PEA accepts exhibitors that are interested in educating members of our community about the choices they have to be more sustainable. If you offer a “green” product or service, promote an environmentally-related cause, or can educate the public on sustainable practices, the Earth Day Fair is a great place to exhibit. Booths are reserved on a first come, first served basis. REGISTRATION HAS BEGUN. We've sold out of spaces the last three years so register early. Visit our Exhibitor page for more information.
