Dan River Company

The Dan River Company provides professional boat rental and shuttle services on the Dan River. Our rental service includes canoes, kayaks or sit-on-top kayaks, PFDs (personal floatation devices), and paddles. It also includes transportation from DRC to the river accesses on the Dan River.  For people who have their own boats, we offer shuttle sevices to any of our trip locations. We are located in the foothills of the Sauratown Mountain Range, adjacent to Hanging Rock State Park in Danbury, North Carolina. We host several river clean-ups during the year, are an Adopt-a-Highway member with 4 miles of road, work with the Dan River Basin Association on environmental issues pertaining to the Dan River, and are developing a recycling program for our Company.
