Plan Ahead for 2009
The 2009 Fair will be held on April 18. Interest in booth registration for the 2008 Fair was very strong. We sold out of booth space in February. To put your name on the list for the 2009 Fair, please email your contact information to info@peaNC.org.
If you missed the Fair, here's a recap of what was offered:
Eco-Solutions
Over seventy-five booths featured a wide range of environmental topics, sustainable solutions, and local initiatives.
Eco-Kids
Eight stations that allowed children to explore, experience, and ask questions. Fun, interactive activities taught kids how to take care of the earth. View list of Eco-Kids activities.
Eco-Talks
A full schedule of 30-minute presentations on a wide variety of environmental topics were offered. Click to view Eco-Talks schedule.
Eco-Foods & Drink
All of the food and beverage sold at the Fair was all-natural, organic when possible, and delicious.
Chef-Tastings
Five of our area’s popular chefs demonstrated cooking with all natural, local ingredients and sampled their dishes. View schedule.
Eco-Marketplace
Earth friendly gifts, goods, and services were for sale at the Fair.
Entertainment
The main stage featured local talent and special presentations throughout the day under a shaded tent, featuring best selling author Wanda Urbanska of PBS TV’s Simple Living and renowned singer Martha Bassett.

Greening the Fair
Steps were taken to ensure that the Fair was as green as possible. All of the Fair banners and signs were printed by Express Graphics of Winston-Salem using materials from their eco-friendly line of products, EG Green. Click to view the Environmental Plan.
