Piedmont Earth Day Fair Team

The 2009 Earth Day Fair team has been assembled.  We have several job openings, listed below.  If you are interested in volunteering to help, please contact Terri LeGrand, tlegrand@peaNC.org.  Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of the 2009 Piedmont Earth Day Fair, one of the biggest and best Earth Day fairs in North Carolina!

Volunteer Coordinator:
Receive needs from all the various coordinators and keep a master list, which will be put on the website.  Oversee on-line sign up’s of volunteers slots; work with Wake Forest student groups to achieve goal of 50% volunteers coming from Wake; coordinate all communications with volunteers; and oversee volunteer check-in day of the Fair.

Entertainment Coordinator:
Recruit local talent to provide entertainment on our main stage throughout the day.  This position will involve identifying area performers, getting agreements and establishing the entertainment schedule.

PEA Booth Co-Coordinator (we already have one, need another "co" to share the work):
Organize and implement a dynamic, interactive Piedmont Environmental Alliance booth that will educate Fair visitors about the important work PEA is doing in the community and motivate and inspire them to get involved.
