These are just a few of the topics children will explore at the Earth Day Fair.  Every child, ages 4-12, will be invited to explore twelve activities designed just for them at booths hosted by a variety of community partners.

Children will be given a Passport to the Earth and have an opportunity to fill their passports with stamps from continents and bodies of water across the globe after engaging in educational and interactive activities. Children will also discover fun facts about ecologists and their careers. The Passport to the Earth program will provide children with information they can share with their peers, parents, and communities about how to care for the Earth.

Earth Day Sand Mandala with Artist Nancy David

Join local artist Nancy David in the creation of a community sand mandala focusing on bringing healing to our planet. Children of all ages are invited to add their personal Earth Day symbols to the mandala as everyone reflects on how each of us can live in a way to protect the earth.  Starting at Noon, at Booth # 73.

Andee the Earth Day Mime

Andee the Earth Day mime is speechless about the thousands of Americans who do not recycle!  Don’t let Andee catch you throwing your soda can into the trash can, or you just might get put into an invisible box.  Don’t miss his act 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
