No Impact Experiment -- Day 3

Day 3 was about transportation. I drove to work by myself.  BUT, I did cram seven people in my car to drive to lunch.  Was there anywhere we could have lunched here and spared the one mile drive?  Probably, but then I would have missed the incredible corn pudding at Zoe's kitchen (maybe I compensated by not eating any meat). We do have our house on the market, and I am looking for a home MUCH closer to my place of employment and my kids' schools and activities.  So, hopefully this part of my footprint will begin to shrink soon.

Unfortunately, there just aren't a lot of public transportation options in my area.  There are NONE in my community, which is borderline rural.  It would be great to be able to hop on a train or bus to get to work, but I don't think that will ever happen for me where I live. My brother, though, who lives in rural Sweden between two pretty small towns can cross his street to the bus stop. He used to ride the bus to the train station and ride the train to work. But, he bought a car.

Today's topic is FOOD.  I am going to hit this one out of the ballpark.  More tomorrow ...
