Randy Fulk
Randy Fulk is a renaissance farmer and Americana singer-songwriter. Fulk is a first rate picker, but he doesn’t try to dazzle you with his technique; his guitar is used to support his sharp lyrical insights and his mellow appealing tenor, an instrument that delivers his songs in a sincere, unaffected tone. His 2004 critically acclaimed album Empty Spaces, produced by Grammy-nominated Mark Williams, features 13 original songs that celebrate rural life and its simple delights. We are thrilled to welcome Randy back to his 6th consecutive Earth Day Fair.   http://www.randyfulk.com

Wyndy Trail Travelers

The Wyndy Trail Travelers (pronounced “Wine-dee”) write and perform in styles of music that range from newgrass to Afro-Cuban to Caribbean to bluegrass to traditional Dead/jamband favorites. Traveling along a musical path that leaves one with the sense of winding around various styles, the WTT remain focused on catering to a musically sophisticated audience that likes to dance and have a good time. With their new CD “Day by Day” in hand, they are well-prepared to please ears that are unfamiliar with this group hailing from the Piedmont area of North Carolina. The Wyndy Trail Travelers are: Bryan (mandolin and lead vocals), Brad (rhythm guitar and lead vocals), Tyson (fiddle, guitar and harmony vocals), Court (acoustic bass) and extended Traveler family members Ashley (guitar), Justin (guitar) and Kelly (drums and percussion).

The Lizzy Ross Band

The Lizzy Ross Band fuses jazz and folk music with dirty blues, rock and soul. Ross’ commanding, versatile, and expressive voice has been compared to such artists as Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell, and Grace Potter. The band’s tight arrangements are tasteful and unique, ranging from subtly complimentary to virtuosically explosive. Based in Chapel Hill, NC, Ross writes original songs that create uniquely soulful music that is intelligent, danceable, and unique. In June 2010 Lizzy Ross released her debut solo album, Traces. The Band is currently recording and plans to release a full-length album in March 2011.     http://www.lizzy.net

Latin Trio

Latin Trio is a 3-piece side project led by Cesar Oviedo. Oviedo, who plays bass, piano, and vocals, as well as arranges the music, also heads up a popular local 9-piece band West End Mambo, that performs a fiery mix of classic salsa from bolero and rumbas to guaracha and son montuno. Latin Trio is making its Earth Day Fair debut, and will get the crowd moving, shaking, and dancing with its energetic sounds from North, South and Central America, as well as the Caribbean.

Porch Dog Revival

Making their second straight appearance at the Earth Day Fair, Porch Dog Revival plays an energetic and entertaining mix of Americana inspired soul and contemporary and traditional bluegrass music. Hailing from the tradition-rich foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, the members of Porch Dog Revival concoct their own musical brew. Drawing influence from many genres, Porch Dog Revival manages to create something fresh while remaining grounded in their roots. Although playing primarily original music, the band’s sets are sprinkled with a few choice covers. The band's debut album is slated for release in April, 2011.
