Thank you for your interest in hosting a booth at the 4th annual Piedmont Earth Day Fair.  We are excited to be hosting one of the largest Earth Day fairs in the state.  The Fair will be held Saturday, April 18, 2009 from 10 am to 5 pm on the campus of Wake Forest University.  Booth participants will be required to check in no later than 8:30 am and stay until 5 pm.  No exceptions.  The Fair will be outside in Manchester Plaza. We have reserved the Benson University Center, fourth floor, in the event of severe weather.  The event will be held rain or shine.

The mission of the Fair is to educate the public on how to live sustainably. Living sustainably requires that human activity consume nature's resources at a rate that can be replenished naturally.  We are seeking booth participants whose messages will reinforce our mission.

This will be a Zero-Waste event. Upon receipt of your registration, we will send you a comprehensive vendor packet to assist you in this goal.  Please understand, before you register, that our intent is to ensure that all waste is either recyclable or compostable. You will be responsible for taking with you any waste that does not meet these requirements.  Any food or drink sold or given away must be offered in recyclable or compostable containers.

Booth spaces are 10 feet by 10 feet.  New this year:  booth space rental includes one 8 ft table and two chairs.  Participants must provide their own tents, if desired.  PEA highly encourages the use of tents to protect from sun and rain.  The Fair will remain outside if there is light rain or passing showers.

New this year, YOU MUST BE A MEMBER OF PEA TO HOST A BOOTH AT THE PIEDMONT EARTH DAY FAIR.**  The fees below do not include membership.  If you are not already a member, you may join on-line or download a registration form to mail-in.  To confirm your membership, if necessary, email info@peaNC.org.  You must join separately.  Booth registration does not include membership.  PEA is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization funded solely by membership fees and donations.  For the benefits of membership, see our membership page.

**  Please note:  The membership requirement is waived for government agencies.  Other non-profit organizations with bylaws and policies which prevent membership should email info@peaNC.org for alternate instructions.
