Sustainable living, organic gardening & cooking
A special program focused on learning about sustainable living, organic gardening & cooking is being co-sponsored by the Elsewhere Collaborative ( 606 S. Elm St. in Greensboro) and the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greensboro. Participants will be building a bike shed and bird houses too! The program is only open to 24 children and youth (ages 4-18). If your child or youth is interested in being a part of this day of work, fellowship, and stewardship, please send an email to dreuucg@bellsouth.net so that a spot can be reserved you. Parents are welcome to join in the day's activities as well – the cost for adult lunches is $3. This event is being funded by a YES Grant from Environmental Stewardship Greensboro.
