COMMUNITY GARDENING INFORMATION DAY

From street corners to churchyards to school grounds and extended backyards, community gardens are popping up all around the area, and gardeners are turning to each other for advice and assistance. Anyone interested in community gardening is invited to this event. Representatives of established, local community gardens and resource organizations will be on hand throughout the day to share tips on creating and maintaining a successful community garden. Displays and discussion stations will be set up around the formal gardens (or in the greenhouse, in case of inclement weather). Free.  Drop in any time from 10 am – 2 pm.
