Christmas Bird Count - T.G. Pearson Audubon Society
In 1900, 27 observers took part in the first count in 25 locations in the the United States and Canada. Now we have that many participants in the Triad. Come, be part of this annual Christmas tradition and join us as we count all the birds in our Guilford County region. Not only is the data from these counts of interest to local birders, it is used internationally by scientists to track changes in bird populations and bird distributions.
